I am Mitchell Jerome Horn, also known amongst many other names as reddprime and redd.
More on me:
I am from South Africa has been drawing my own unique designs since the day he could hold a pencil. As I grew, so did my love for art and especially toys. I began to take my talent for art more seriously during my studies at Goldfields FET, where I achieved an N6 in Arts and Graphics in 2007.
During this time I started to draw and create my own characters each with a unique flair and inspired by Anime at first and from there I learnt about the world of character design.
Since 2008 when I learnt about the world of character design, I have engulfed myself in it and started to look at how to create characters that come off the page and step into a world of their own.
Since 2008 I have been about of Bigwood Berlin and the up and coming art show in Miami, the Multiversal Group Show, taking place from the 3rd of December 2009 till the 6th of December 2009.
More info on the show can be found here www.multiversalgroupshow.com

Tip
If you want a career in art and design, collabs are a great way to get your style and work recognised. Collabs are big news in graffiti and toy culture. Don't be afraid to ask character designers if you could make a piece of art inspired by their inventions, well known character designers have serious website traffic with visitors every day that may talk about your work and get your name recognised.
NB. Always get permission.
